The role supports students in various school locations in the Winchester, VA area, with a steady full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week throughout the academic year. Your background in serving school populations, particularly those with SLP – CCC credentials, will be invaluable in providing direct therapy, evaluations, and engaging in collaborative problem-solving with educational staff and families.

Qualifications:

• Current and active Virginia SLP License required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Prior experience delivering speech therapy services in schools strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation standards within educational settings
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication delays and disorders in students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group-based, during school hours
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to maximize student progress
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings as required
