Step into a dynamic school-based role serving students across Pre-K to 12th grade in a vibrant and supportive educational environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference during an FMLA leave, covering an anticipated 12-week assignment—beginning as soon as possible—with a strong likelihood of extension beyond the initial period (extension not guaranteed). Whether you are an experienced Occupational Therapist or a talented COTA, your expertise will play an integral part in helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of students throughout the district
• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary educational teams to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Document progress in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards
• Support students with a range of disabilities in building functional and academic skills
• For COTA candidates, follow the guidance and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Travel between multiple school sites as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Connecticut OT license or COTA certification (CT DPH License and NBCOT exam passed)
• Prior school-based OT/COTA experience preferred, but not required
• Reliable transportation to facilitate district-wide travel
• Experience working with students from Pre-K through high school
• Comfortable with a temporary maternity leave assignment, with a possible extension
