Legal E‐Billing Specialist (On‐Site | Tampa, FL)

Our client, a respected consulting firm serving the legal industry, is seeking an experienced Legal E‐Billing Specialist to join their Tampa office. This is a full‐time, on‐site position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. Experience with SurePoint or Orion billing software is a strong plus.

If you have law firm billing experience and are looking for a new opportunity, this role offers a stable schedule— Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. —and the chance to support a team of attorneys with high‐volume, complex billing needs. Occasional overtime may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process client bills using law firm accounting software
• Submit electronic invoices and accruals through various e‐billing platforms
• Edit LEDES files and troubleshoot submission errors
• Research and resolve billing and accounting inquiries
• Review, transfer, and edit pre‐bills based on attorney instructions
• Ensure time entries and disbursements comply with client billing guidelines
• Track billing deadlines and keep attorneys informed of status updates
• Manage a high volume of complex monthly billing
• Verify accuracy of billing documentation and supporting materials
• Assist with special projects, ad hoc reporting, and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 5+ years of law firm billing experience preferred
• Experience with e‐billing platforms; familiarity with SurePoint or Orion is a plus
