Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a contract paraprofessional in a specialized setting, with the opportunity to move directly into a permanent district position after the initial contracting period. This position runs from September 8, 2026, through December 7, 2026, with weekday hours from 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM.

In this setting 4 program, you’ll play a vital part in helping students with unique educational needs succeed. Collaborate closely with teachers and specialists, providing individualized assistance and maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Highly qualified paraprofessional status, proven by one of the following:
  • Passing the Minnesota Para Educator Exam (must provide passing documentation)
  • Completion of at least 60 college credits (attach actual college transcript; diploma or degree is not accepted)
• Experience working with children or adolescents, especially in educational or behavioral support roles, preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students and staff
• Commitment to respectful, patient, and positive engagement with learners in a K-12 school environment
• Adaptability and reliability within a structured school-day schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Support instructional activities under teacher supervision
• Implement behavior strategies and interventions as directed
• Assist with classroom management and student engagement
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students with diverse needs
• Participate in ongoing communication and collaboration with the instructional team
