Manager 1, Small & Medium Business Direct Sales - Outside Sales, Comcast Business

This role is responsible for efficiently managing and monitoring the sales of an integrated communication structure to small‑to‑medium business customers, maximizing sales revenues and meeting corporate objectives consistently. The position also ensures optimal sales team staffing, training readiness, and performance of sales professionals. Responsibilities Maintain expertise on Comcast products and services to manage the team sales of Ethernet, Internet, Voice and TV services to small‑to‑medium business customers. Select, train and develop qualified account executives, appraise, motivate and uphold continuous performance. Develop, plan and coordinate sales promotions and incentives to reach business goals. Ensure team and individual achievement of all sales, quality, goals and standards. Monitor employee performance, counsel and advise for maximum effectiveness and growth. Address personnel and performance issues in accordance with company policy. Prepare, analyze and maintain records of individual and group sales and performance activities relative to business goals. Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue and unit targets based on data analysis. Design, implement and manage overall territory team structure. Coordinate with other internal teams to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Develop and implement best practices that improve performance and overall success. Coaches, develop, appraise and motivate sales representatives to exceed objectives. Educate sales professionals in planning tactics and ensure compliance with training requirements. Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance; work nights and weekends, variable schedule and overtime as required. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent coursework and experience considered. Certifications: Relevant certifications, if applicable. Relevant Work Experience: 5–7 years in a sales development or similar role. Skills: Change management, group problem solving, people leadership, sales development, training and development.
