Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional states to understand their needs, issues, and goals. Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment feedback, ensuring that plans remain flexible and responsive to clients’ evolving needs. Facilitate individual and couples therapy sessions, addressing a diverse range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma. Maintain detailed and up-to-date client records, ensuring documentation of all therapeutic processes, including session notes and treatment adjustments. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, integrating specialist insights and approaches where beneficial for clients. Provide support in crisis situations, offering immediate interventions to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies. Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy, participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills. Advocate for clients' rights, empowering them to make informed decisions about their therapy and overall well-being. Promote self-care practices among clients as part of their therapeutic journey, encouraging resilience and personal growth. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work with a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals and couples from various cultural backgrounds. Your focus will expand to include children, adolescents, adults, and families, providing you with the opportunity to address unique challenges presented by each demographic. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field. An active LMFT licensure recognized by the State Board of Texas. Demonstrated experience in providing individual and couples therapy, with a focus on effective engagement strategies. Strong documentation skills, ensuring timely completion of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Ability to navigate and utilize remote therapy platforms competently while ensuring client confidentiality and data security. Preferred Experience Experience working with children, adolescents, and families, particularly in a multicultural context. Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques relevant to marriage and family therapy. Familiarity with crisis intervention models and resources. Previous involvement in community outreach or mental health advocacy initiatives would be considered an asset. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
