Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong Windows desktop support experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to provide white-glove support to business users while maintaining high service levels. Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite desktop and laptop support for end users.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, peripheral, printer, and multi-monitor setup issues.
- Install, configure, and support Windows desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Support Active Directory, VPN, Citrix/VDI, and basic networking issues.
- Manage incidents and service requests using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
- Perform new hire onboarding, workstation setup, and equipment deployment.
- Deliver white-glove/VIP support to business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application support teams to resolve complex issues.
- Maintain asset inventory, documentation, and knowledge base articles.
- Utilize AI-enabled support tools to improve ticket resolution and service efficiency.
- 4+ years of experience in Desktop Support or End User Support.
- Strong expertise in Windows desktop and endpoint troubleshooting.
- Experience with multi-monitor and high-performance workstation setups.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, VPN, Networking, and Citrix/VDI.
- Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ITSM tools.
- Strong hardware troubleshooting and deployment experience.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Experience supporting financial services or enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, FactSet, Aladdin, or similar business applications.
- Exposure to OMS/EMS platforms.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and SLA-driven support.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools.
