Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new customer acquisition and strategic account growth across the U.S. market for a global consumer products manufacturing and product solutions organization. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a high-impact sales professional who thrives in a true hunter role, enjoys opening doors with major brands and retail partners, and knows how to position a company as a long-term strategic partner rather than a transactional supplier.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a high-growth market, build relationships with senior decision-makers, and directly influence business expansion across retail, lifestyle, outdoor, wellness, private label, licensed product, promotional, and corporate gifting channels. The environment is fast-paced, entrepreneurial, global, and collaborative, with supportive leadership and cross-functional teams in the U.S. and Asia. Candidates who are self-directed, commercially sharp, and motivated by winning new business will have a strong path to make a visible impact.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, pursue, and develop new strategic customers across U.S. markets, including major retailers, brands, sourcing teams, and product leaders.
- Own the full business development sales cycle, including prospecting, outreach, presentations, sampling, quoting, negotiation, and closing.
- Target key channels such as Costco, Target, Walmart, Amazon, outdoor and lifestyle brands, wellness brands, private label programs, licensed product programs, promotional products, and corporate gifting.
- Build and manage a disciplined pipeline of qualified new business opportunities with clear activity, next steps, and revenue potential.
- Translate market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence into actionable growth strategies.
- Collaborate with global internal teams to support successful program execution, customer satisfaction, and long-term account growth.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
- 15-20% Bonus Opportunity
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Work arrangement: On-site in Oxnard, CA when not traveling.
- Travel: Approximately 40% domestic travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and business development, with some international travel.
