Work Environment\n

This position is predominantly remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to deliver care from a comfortable setting. However, you will also have the chance to engage with clients in our outpatient office as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Build and maintain a positive, trusting relationship with patients, utilizing active listening and empathy to foster a therapeutic alliance.

• Diagnose mental health disorders, and develop comprehensive treatment plans that are customized to meet each patient's unique needs and circumstances.

• Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress by using standardized tools and personal observations to provide data-driven updates on treatment efficacy.

• Lead counseling sessions that may include individual therapy, couple's therapy, and family counseling, dynamically adjusting your approach in response to client feedback and session objectives.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote community support and shared learning experiences, enabling clients to benefit from collective insights and encouragement.
\n
• Coordinate with other healthcare specialists and turn to referrals when clients require additional support outside your expertise.
\n
• Document client progress meticulously and adhere to ethical guidelines to maintain professional standards and accountability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work closely with a diverse group of clients facing various challenges, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. Many of our clients seek guidance in navigating addiction recovery or managing co-occurring disorders, requiring a therapist who is not only skilled but also empathetic and culturally competent.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the State of Massachusetts.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Strong therapeutic, counseling, and communication skills, with a particular emphasis on patience and motivation to foster client growth.

• Excellent teamwork skills, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues to enhance client care and achieving organizational goals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
