Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing our therapists to provide hands-on intervention to patients in their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop personalized treatment plans that address specific orthopedic issues.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation, to facilitate recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as needed, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment interventions meticulously in our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment strategies, empowering them through knowledge on injury prevention and home exercise programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, from adolescents requiring rehabilitation post-surgery to older adults managing chronic orthopedic conditions. This role allows you to significantly impact their recovery journey and overall well-being by providing compassionate care tailored to their unique needs.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid state licensure and certification as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

Preferred Experience

• Experience or specialization in orthopedic physical therapy is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
