You will support access awareness, observe site activity, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.33 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of employees, visitors, and/or drivers entering and leaving the location, following access procedures and reporting suspicious behavior or policy concerns.
• Support daily operations by observing high-traffic areas, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with security-related inquiries in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
