Vessel Closure Regional Sales Director - Southern California

Abbott seeks a Regional Sales Director for its Vessel Closure business in Southern California. This field-based leadership role oversees sales strategy, team management, and revenue growth across the vascular product portfolio, reporting to the Area Vice President.

Responsibilities

Drive profitable growth and sales targets for Vessel Closure portfolio across specialty physician groups
Lead, coach, and manage Account Managers and Clinical Specialists team members
Develop commercial sales strategy aligned with marketing initiatives and execute market contracting efforts
Establish performance standards, individual development plans, and conduct regular performance reviews
Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity, and sales strategy effectiveness; ensure compliance with company policies

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
5-7+ years of related work experience
50% travel capability within assigned region
Sales management experience in medical device industry preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead and coach teams
Strong contract negotiation and customer relationship skills

Compensation: $113,300–$226,700 base
