Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to assigned clients, ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to meet each client's specific needs and goals.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify mental health issues and create integrated care plans that facilitate access to necessary resources and services.

• Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor progress, adjusting treatment approaches as needed to ensure positive outcomes.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community resources to coordinate care and enhance the health and well-being of clients.

• Engage clients in a respectful and empathetic manner, building trust and rapport that fosters a therapeutic alliance conducive to healing and recovery.

• Participate in on-call coverage during and after program hours as assigned, providing crisis intervention as needed.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans to comply with organizational and regulatory standards.

• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings to enhance service delivery and organizational performance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working closely with a diverse population, including individuals with severe emotional disorders and those experiencing the complexities of major mental illness. Your efforts will specifically focus on clients from under-served backgrounds, providing compassionate and relevant support that addresses both their mental health needs and social determinants of health.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Active Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.

• Minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting.
\n
• Strong understanding of cultural competency and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to engage with clients and team members effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a community health setting or with under-served populations.

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health treatment and crisis intervention.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Eastern Valley Health Clinic offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
