Role:Business Controller Asa Business Controller, you will play a pivotal role in the company's journeytoward transforming the world through innovation. You will work closely withthe Finance and Operations team and report to the VP of Accounting based inNorway. This role is integral to the company's mission of creating an abundantsupply of physical labour through safe, intelligent androids that workalongside humans. The company's androids understand both natural language andphysical space, enabling them to perform useful tasks efficiently. Withdual headquarters in San Francisco and Norway, the company values in-personcollaboration to ensure effective execution in their hardware-focusedenvironment. KeyResponsibilities Leadthe US financial operations, including accounting processes, payrollmanagement, and financial reporting. Administerand innovate the employee benefits program, ensuring comprehensive coverage andlegal compliance. Drivecash flow management and forecasting, identifying trends and setting accurateprojections. Championcontinuous process improvement to enhance efficiency and establish bestpractices. Must-Haves Backgroundin Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Provenexperience as a Business Controller or in a similar role, ideally within atechnology-driven organization. Strongknowledge of financial and administrative management principles, practices, andregulatory requirements. Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectivelycollaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strongbusiness acumen and the ability to understand the strategic goals of thecompany. Goodunderstanding of IT applications and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Abilityto work independently and be self-driven, as well as collaboratively as part ofa team. Detail-orientedand organized. Nice-To-Haves Experienceworking in a company with operations in several states and/or countries. Experienceworking in a startup environment.
