Administrative Assistant
Location: Holland, MI
Shift: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM | Monday–Friday
Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour

Job Summary

We’re looking for a dependable and organized Administrative Assistant to provide temporary office support while covering for an employee on vacation. This position is ideal for someone with strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced office environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Administrative Assistant, your core responsibilities will include:

Greeting Visitors and Customers: Welcome visitors, assist customers, and provide professional front desk support.
Answering Phones and Taking Messages: Professionally answer incoming calls, direct calls appropriately, and accurately take phone messages.
Database and Order Entry Support: Look up information in company databases and accurately complete order entry tasks.
Filing and Document Organization: Organize, file, and maintain office documents and records to support daily operations.

In addition, you will also assist with general office duties, maintain accurate records, and support administrative staff as needed throughout the assignment.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

Previous administrative, office, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred.
Must have experience with Microsoft Office.
Strong computer and data entry skills.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced office environment.
Professional communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.

Skills:

Customer Service: Comfortable greeting visitors and assisting customers professionally.
Organization: Ability to manage files, paperwork, and office tasks efficiently.
Communication: Comfortable answering phones, taking messages, and interacting professionally with customers and team members.
Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately enter information and maintain organized records.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the office as needed.
Ability to use computers, phones, and office equipment for extended periods of time.
Ability to organize and file documents as required throughout the shift.
