General Surgeon

Job Title: Surgeon Location: Florence, Oregon Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5 Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension. Pay Rate : $249 - $268/hr Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Surgeon for a temporary assignment in Florence, Oregon. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend. Responsibilities for a Surgeon: Provide general surgery services in a critical access hospital setting (inpatient and outpatient) Perform colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures Manage patient admissions See approximately 10 patients per day, adult population Work five (5) 8-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday in a clinic setting Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting Maintain board certification in Surgery Maintain valid Oregon state medical license (must be in hand at time of presentation) Maintain current ACLS certification Provide documentation of surgical services representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested within the previous 24 months (or training log if training completed within the past year) Comply with COVID-19 vaccine requirement (no exemptions) Work within a 21-bed facility supporting both inpatient and outpatient care needs Benefits for a Surgeon: Weekly pay every Friday Comprehensive Professional Malpractice Insurance 24/7 Recruitment Support Full-service Credentialing and Corporate Travel Team Referral Bonus up to $5,000 Astrya Global Medical Staffing offers 10+ years of staffing experience, 100% domestic support, and is certified by both the Joint Commission and National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations.
