Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough admission assessments for new patients, demonstrating professionalism and a welcoming demeanor.

• Engage in weekly treatment team meetings to discuss goals and collaborate on patient care, providing clinical support to team members when necessary.
\n
• Manage the insurance authorization process by performing utilization reviews and liaising with both insurance companies and billing departments.
\n
• Ensure prompt accessibility to patients’ families and loved ones, responding to all communications within two hours during business hours.
\n
• Coordinate continuity of care with outpatient providers upon patient admission, midpoint, and discharge, confirming discharge appointments ahead of time.
\n
• Initiate discharge planning on the day of admission, facilitating sessions that focus on coping strategies and transition resources.
\n
• Effectively manage crises during therapy sessions, providing support to support staff in working with patients.
\n
• Complete all clinical documentation promptly and accurately, adhering to the requirement of documenting at the time of service.
\n
• Establish strong therapeutic rapport, assessing patients for any suicide risks or potential dangers to themselves or others.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse patient population seeking outpatient mental health services. This includes individuals facing various challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. By employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, you will support these clients in achieving their therapeutic goals and improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate Degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution.

• An active independent license in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.

• Comfortable and proficient with electronic medical record systems and electronic communication methods.
