Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate patients' histories and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience, incorporating a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and promote overall healing.

• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient’s mental health are addressed.

• Offer crisis intervention services and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating your capacity to handle high-stress scenarios effectively.

• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and the plethora of resources available to support their journey.

• Ensure all documentation is maintained accurately and confidentially, adhering to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• At least two years of experience providing mental health counseling is preferred, ideally with a focus on trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
