Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of recent ICU experience License: Ohio license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Surgical ICU / Trauma ICU / Burn ICU / Transplant ICU experience preferred First-time travelers accepted Floating required Call required Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. The shift will be from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The schedule includes every other weekend, with a total of 36 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of ICU experience. Experience in Surgical ICU, Trauma ICU, Burn ICU, or Transplant ICU is preferred. Candidates must possess BLS and ACLS certifications. NIHSS certification is also required. An active Ohio nursing license is mandatory. The position may require floating to different units as needed. Call duty will be required. Travelers will be subject to the fingerprinting process. Two professional references are required for submission. At least one reference must come from a manager or someone in a formal leadership position. No coworker references will be accepted. Candidates must have completed their education from an accredited program.
