About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Transplant Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS and BCLS certifications required Must-Have: Previous travel nursing experience preferred Description: Provide care to patients within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1 nurse to 5 patients. Utilize skills in IV starts and telemetry monitoring. Familiarity with Epic system for documentation is required. This position offers a dynamic schedule with the opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment. Travelers will not be expected to care for ICU level patients and will only work PCU. Special procedures include kidney and liver transplant recovery, managing complications, and performing diagnostic procedures. Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Candidates must be cooperative with credentialing processes. Two professional references are required. All applicants must hold an education from an accredited nursing program.
