Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients using a variety of assessment tools and techniques.
• Design individualized therapy plans that cater to both immediate needs and future communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver targeted speech therapy sessions that emphasize language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions.
• Partner with a multidisciplinary team of physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients and their families to support therapy progress beyond the clinic.
• Provide inpatient therapy evaluations and procedures as needed to maintain comprehensive patient care throughout their journey.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and complies with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Engage in continuing education to stay at the forefront of advancements in the field and connect with peers for further growth.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is pending.

Certifications

• Current state licensure for a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
