Job Description:
As a Dynamics 365 Developer , you will design, develop, customize, and support enterprise business solutions utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform ecosystem. This role requires deep expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and related Microsoft technologies to deliver scalable, secure, and business-focused solutions.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and system administrators to gather requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, design solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement best practices for platform governance and application lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead technical initiatives in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, configure, customize, and support solutions within Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, with a strong focus on the Customer Service module.

• Participate in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support activities.

• Develop custom applications and components using Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, .NET, C#, SQL, and Azure technologies.

• Design and develop new web components and integrations that support enterprise business processes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Dynamics 365 and Power Platform issues while documenting solutions and implementing corrective actions.

• Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure business requirements are translated into effective technical solutions.

• Assist stakeholders in evaluating Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, and related technologies to determine optimal business solutions.

• Create prototypes, mockups, and proof-of-concept solutions based on business requirements.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, requirements documentation, solution designs, and implementation guides.

• Promote and enforce best practices, governance standards, security requirements, and architectural guidelines across the platform.

• Support platform administration, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and administrators to deliver integrated and scalable business solutions.

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements to existing workflows, procedures, and platform usage.

• Support application lifecycle management and DevOps practices within the Power Platform ecosystem.

• Participate in after-hours support activities and on-call rotations when required.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, particularly Dynamics 365 Customer Service.

• Extensive experience with Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, development, deployment, and support.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse.

• Strong development experience using C#, .NET, SQL Server, Azure, and related Microsoft technologies.

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise business applications using Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.

• Proven experience conducting requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, testing, deployment, and support activities.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.

• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform licensing models and governance frameworks.

• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, architecture diagrams, recommendations, and technical analyses.

• Ability to design and develop prototypes and solution mockups that align with business requirements.

• Experience collaborating with business users, stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure teams.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices for Power Platform, including Power Pipelines, ALM Accelerator, or similar deployment frameworks, is preferred.

• Strong understanding of platform governance, security, compliance, and best practices.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.

• Experience reviewing, refining, and improving business and technical processes.

• Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments while maintaining a high level of quality and customer service.

• Experience supporting remote teams and providing off-hours support when needed.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
