The role demands flexibility, with evening availability from 4 PM to 7 PM, and offers the possibility of weekend sessions as needed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions facilitating a supportive and therapeutic environment for adolescents and their caregivers.

• Implement strategies that assist clients in managing anger, coping with stress, and enhancing social skills while addressing high-risk behaviors such as self-injury or aggression.

• Work collaboratively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and improve decision-making capabilities in families.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, including treatment plans, progress notes, and intake assessments, adhering to all deadlines.

• Participate in monthly team meetings, contributing recommendations and insights to shape treatment decisions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on delivering therapy to children and adolescents aged 3 to 20 who are experiencing developmental disabilities and cognitive challenges. You will play a crucial role in supporting families of diverse backgrounds, employing culturally sensitive approaches to address each child's specific needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a closely related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Arizona.

• A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are essential for travel to clients’ homes.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
