Back Office Medical Assistant

Company Description Alliance Dermatology & Mohs partners with Dermatologist's Choice Professional Skin Care Product Line to provide solutions that refine dull complexions, balance skin tone, and unclog pores. We are a fast paced clinic with multiple Providers. Our services include Mohs surgery, IGSRT, General Derm, Research Clinical Trials, Biologics, Cosmetics, PRP, Xtrac, PDT. Role Description The Back Office Medical Assistant is a full-time, role based in North Phoenix and Sun City West. Must be able to travel. This position supports dermatology and Mohs procedures by preparing exam rooms, assisting providers during patient visits, and ensuring that instruments and supplies are organized and properly maintained. Must be able to Scribe and be able to perform basic Triage duties and patient call backs. Must collaborates closely with providers and back office staff to promote efficient operations and a positive patient experience. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Medical Assisting in a clinical or dermatology setting. Solid understanding of Medical Terminology relevant to dermatology and surgical procedures. Strong Patient Care skills, with a focus on empathy, clear communication, and patient safety. Ability to accurately manage and update Medical Records, preferably using electronic medical record (EMA). Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Current Medical Assistant certification or registration in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain) is beneficial. Basic knowledge of dermatology procedures and skin care products is a plus. Reliable time management, attention to detail, and ability to follow clinical protocols.
