- # Job Description# Accounts Payable Operations AnalystApply**Job#: 3056771****Job Description:**Accounts Payable Operations Analyst**Location:** Birmingham, Alabama (On-site)Role OverviewThis organization is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support accounts payable, invoice processing, employee timekeeping, expense administration, and operational support activities. The ideal candidate will manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and coordinate key administrative and compliance tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills to support daily operations and departmental initiatives effectively.Key Responsibilities* Process invoices, utility payments, purchase orders, and expense reports.* Manage timesheets for exempt, hourly, and union employees.* Support procurement card (P-Card) administration and expense tracking.* Assist with contract administration and documentation in Maximo.* Maintain project records, files, SharePoint sites, and departmental documentation.* Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly project status reports and presentations.* Coordinate with compliance, HR, accounting, and operations teams.* Support office administration, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and departmental initiatives.Required Qualifications**Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.**Experience:** Demonstrated professional experience in accounts payable, financial operations, accounting support, or a related administrative role.**Technical Skills:** Proficiency with Oracle, Maximo, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar ERP systems. Strong expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.Preferred Qualifications* Prior experience supporting large construction or utility projects.* Familiarity with records retention procedures and document control.* Proven adaptability in managing emergent administrative requirements. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
