Executive Chef

Executive Chef Position Blue Hill Country Club is recruiting an Executive Chef to oversee the day‑to‑day culinary operations of our multi‑unit operation, including several dining outlets, pool operations, and extensive banquet business. The Executive Chef will ensure the highest quality for members and their guests and must be versatile with both banquet and à‑la‑carte experience. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing an annual budget and achieve financial goals through forecasting, cost control, and labor management. Execute daily operations; the role is a hands‑on working chef rather than an office position. Coordinate ordering, monitoring of food, kitchen wares, and engineering of menu items to maintain proper contribution margin. Hire, train, and develop all kitchen staff, ensuring standardization of recipes and plate presentation for à‑la‑carte venues and catered events. Advocate outstanding service to members; understand the critical role of membership and exceeding expectations. Oversee all culinary operations including à‑la‑carte, member events, and banquets; deliver creative menu design, concise purchasing strategies, and efficient operational management. Maintain a respectful, family‑style management approach and act as an ambassador for our culture. Skills and Qualifications Minimum of five years as an Executive Chef or eight years as a Sous Chef. Experience leading high‑volume culinary operations with multiple dining outlets. Strong presence in the dining room and proven team‑management, organizational, and coaching skills. Solid understanding of revenue generation for à‑la‑carte and banquet operations. Comprehensive knowledge of menu planning for restaurants and banquets, including high‑volume buffet and banquet cuisine. Proficient in expense control, budgeting, and labor forecasting. Experience with purchasing and inventory systems. Creative menu development skills. Tech literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, payroll, and point‑of‑sale systems. Superior client service skills and the ability to maintain poise under pressure. Bilingual (English‑Spanish) communication ability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
