Work Environment

This full-time role requires on-site presence, engaging closely with clients in their homes throughout Miami, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to establish a personalized treatment plan aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring function.
• Implement and oversee physical therapy treatments in adherence to prescribed plans of care, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and efficacy.
• Assess clients' physical environments, providing recommendations to enhance independence and facilitate rehabilitation.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual exercises, traction, and modalities for pain relief while motivating clients through non-manual exercises and daily functional activities.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust orthotic and prosthetic devices, consulting with the physician regarding any necessary modifications.
• Document clinical findings, prepare care plans, record progress notes, and create discharge summaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate comprehensive treatment strategies and share insights from your physical therapy assessments.
• Provide education and guidance to clients and their families about rehabilitation processes, physical therapy devices, and autonomous care methods.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in their contributions to patient care, ensuring that all therapy is delivered effectively and safely in accordance with legal requirements.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to meet organizational goals, demonstrating flexibility and proactive problem-solving skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program, demonstrating advanced clinical knowledge and skills.
• A current, active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with a clean record, devoid of any sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proficient in utilizing manual therapy techniques and moving with confidence in developing exercise protocols tailored to individual client needs.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to document accurately using EMR software—experience with Web PT is a plus.
• A thorough understanding of modern physical therapy methodologies underpinned by current research and best practices.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a robust benefits package that includes:
