Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic illnesses to formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise programs, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and promote mobility.
• Closely monitor patient progress, documenting treatments and responses while adapting treatment plans as needed to ensure the best outcomes.
• Recommend assistive devices to enhance self-care and mobility for patients, providing fitting and training sessions when necessary.
• Deliver educational support to patients, caregivers, and family members about the therapeutic process and how to implement strategies at home.
• Stay updated with best practices by participating in professional education, attending workshops, and engaging in relevant professional societies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid DPT license to practice in the state of New Jersey.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to engage with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in documentation and data entry using electronic health record systems.
• A strong commitment to professional growth and flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs.
• Experience is preferred, but not required; we welcome new graduates who are eager to learn and grow within our supportive team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, but motivated new graduates will also be considered.

Compensation and Benefits
