We’re seeking a Collections & Cash Application Manager to lead critical Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring timely collections and accurate cash application while driving process efficiency and team performance.

About the Role

The Collections & Cash Application Manager oversees the end-to-end credit collections process and cash application operations. This role leads a team responsible for reducing delinquency, resolving disputes, and ensuring accurate posting of customer payments, while collaborating cross-functionally to enhance financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams responsible for collections and cash application operations
• Drive reduction of past due balances and monitor performance using KPIs
• Oversee posting, coding, and reconciliation of customer payments and remittances
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and IT to resolve disputes and improve processes
• Manage delinquent accounts, credit holds, and escalation reporting
• Prepare and analyze weekly cash flow and collections reports
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
• Support leadership with month-end close, audits, and ERP-related initiatives

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in commercial credit, collections, or accounts receivable
• 1+ year of people leadership or supervisory experience
• Demonstrated success managing collections strategies and reducing delinquency
• Experience with cash application, payment posting, and reconciliation processes
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and ERP systems
