Key Responsibilities of the RN - ED- Emergency Department - Travel

• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Provide care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Manage central lines and IV vasopressors
• Handle continuous IV sedation and BiPAP/CPAP management
• Interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) and care for ventilated patients
• Perform triage and administer blood products
• Start and maintain IVs
• Apply isolation precautions and PPE
• Care for combined adult/pediatric patients in emergency settings
• Manage cerebrovascular accidents (CVA)

Requirements of the RN - ED- Emergency Department - Travel

• 1.5 years of experience in nursing
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Preferred experience with Allscripts charting system
