Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for clients, effectively tailoring therapeutic strategies to meet their specific needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to a diverse clientele, which may include individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to address complex mental health conditions.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and client records in accordance with organizational standards and legal requirements, ensuring adherence to ethical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at Horizon Care, you will work with a wide range of clients facing many mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clientele often includes adults and families from diverse backgrounds and varying demographics, providing an enriching experience that fosters professional depth and expertise in behavioral health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• At least two years of experience in a counseling role, ideally within a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within the mental health profession.
