Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at New Cross Center, you will take on a range of responsibilities focused on providing personalized therapy in both individual and group settings. Your primary duties will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of couples and families to understand dynamics and areas of concern.
\n
• Formulating and implementing tailored treatment plans based on individual and family needs.
\n
• Facilitating sessions that may address a variety of issues, such as conflicts among family members, grief and loss, stress management, and adjustment to life transitions.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based practices and transformative therapeutic methods to foster positive changes.
\n
• Collaborating effectively with other health professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
\n
• Documenting treatment progress accurately to ensure compliance with state regulations and facilitate continuity of care.
\n
• Participating in training and development activities to enhance your professional skills and remain current in therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele that includes adults, children, and adolescents. Our caseload encompasses a range of presenting problems, such as:

• Alcohol and substance abuse

• Physical and psychological abuse
\n
• Grief and loss issues
\n
• Conflicts among siblings and parents
\n
• Stress related to job and medical issues
\n
• Challenges associated with blended families, separation, and divorce

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must have:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
\n
• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• A commitment to providing compassionate and effective patient-centered care.
\n
• A strong understanding of family systems and dynamics.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates who have:

• Previous experience working with diverse family structures and issues.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Flexibility to adapt to varied client needs and schedules, with a preference for those able to commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week.

New Cross Center for Mental Health offers a competitive salary range from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise. We provide a generous compensation package that includes:
