As Executive Assistant supporting the VP of TeraWave Operations, you'll be embedded at the heart of groundbreaking aerospace innovation — coordinating across engineering, manufacturing, testing, and operations teams to drive forward the development of reusable booster technology. You'll help manage the complex ecosystem behind Blue Origin's vision for sustainable access to space.Your organizational expertise will enable critical decisions that shape the future of our reusable rocket program. From strategic planning sessions to technical reviews, you'll ensure our leadership remains focused, informed, and supported through every phase of booster development. Your impact will ripple across every mission milestone as we revolutionize space transportation with technology that returns from the edge of space to fly again.What You'll DoIn this role, you'll become an extension of our leadership team, trusted with sensitive information, complex logistics, and mission-critical communication. Your responsibilities will include:Executive PartnershipServe as a thought partner and operational right hand to a senior executive with distinct but interconnected prioritiesMaintain situational awareness, anticipating needs and proactively managing shifting demandsBuild trusted relationships across internal teams and external partnersDevelop effective systems for triaging requests, information flow, and resource allocationCalendar & Scheduling ExcellenceManage complex, high-volume calendars across time zonesCoordinate internal and external meetings with precision, optimizing for priority, flow, and flexibilityAct as gatekeeper and gateway — balancing access with focus timeTravel & LogisticsCoordinate detailed domestic and international travel: flights, accommodations, ground transportation, meeting prep, and contingency planningManage pre-travel briefing materials and ensure executives are always one step aheadSubmit timely, accurate expense reports aligned with internal policyCommunication & ConfidentialityDraft, edit, and manage correspondence on behalf of senior leaders — maintaining tone, clarity, and contextAct as a liaison across departments and with internal and external partners, managing sensitive communications with discretionHandle confidential information and decisions with integrity and tactStrategic Projects & PrioritiesDrive special projects from ideation to execution (e.g., hiring efforts, onboarding programs, team offsites, executive reporting)Help translate big-picture priorities into actionable steps and ensure follow-throughImprove and evolve internal workflows, templates, and processesEvent Planning & Team EngagementPlan and execute key internal events including team offsites, technical milestone celebrations, executive reviews, and all-hands meetingsCoordinate logistics, communications, guest management, and post-event follow-upDevelop and lead team morale initiatives — from recognition programs and surprise appreciation moments to inclusive team-building eventsPartner with People/HR and site leadership to foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and mission-alignmentTrack event budgets, success metrics, and feedback to continually improve future experiencesWhat You BringWe're looking for a strong mix of experience, poise, and mission alignment:5+ years supporting senior executives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments (startups, aerospace, tech, VC-backed firms, or similar)Demonstrated success operating with executive-level discretion, trust, and emotional intelligenceMastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Visio, and AcrobatProficiency with AI productivity tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar generative AI platforms) to enhance executive support capabilitiesExperience using AI tools for drafting communications, summarizing information, research, and workflow optimizationStrong communication skills: written, verbal, and contextualSelf-starter with strong prioritization skills and the ability to stay grounded under pressureAbility to adapt to flexible hours and travel schedules with the ability to travel as neededU.S. citizenship or permanent residency (Green Card) requiredBonus Points ForExperience supporting executives in aerospace, engineering, manufacturing, or regulated industriesOperational experience in environments with safety, compliance, or technical documentationComfort navigating ambiguity and evolving prioritiesAdvanced skills in leveraging AI tools to streamline executive workflows and communicationsExperience supporting multiple executives with different working styles and focus areasBase Pay Range for:CA applicants is $41.15 - $57.60Other site ranges may differCulture StatementDon’t meet all desired requirements?
