Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team. This is a full-time, in-office, temp-to-hire position designed for a motivated professional looking for long-term stability and career growth.

While your primary focus will be managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, we are deeply committed to your professional development. Once you are established in the AP role, you will receive comprehensive cross-training in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Payroll, making this an excellent opportunity to expand your accounting skill set and build a well-rounded financial background.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are seeking a collaborative, detail-oriented Full-Charge AP/AR Specialist who combines technical accounting skills with exceptional interpersonal strengths. In this role, you will manage end-to-end transactional accounting—from billing and collections to vendor payments and month/year-end ledger reconciliation.

Because our team directly supports education partners, you will interact with educators on a daily basis . The ideal candidate brings a helpful, service-minded approach, strong communication skills, proficiency in Syspro ERP , and a true passion for supporting the education community.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable & Collections

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including billing, customer ledger updates, and payment application.

• Perform proactive collections outreach on client accounts via phone calls and emails with a professional, solution-oriented approach.

• Monitor aged receivables reports, resolve invoice discrepancies, and maintain accurate account reconciliations.

Accounts Payable & Full-Circle Accounting

• Process supplier invoices, verify approvals, code ledger accounts, and execute payment runs (EFT/Check).
