Koniag Technology Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company , is seeking a Salesforce Testerto support KTS and our government customer. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. The position is remote.

Primarily remote. Occasional on-site presence may be required at USDA or customer locations (e.g., FEMA, FNA, or AMS offices) as directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Core business hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET, excluding federal holidays.

Koniag Technology Solutions is seeking aSalesforce Testerto support the USDA Digital Infrastructure Services Center (DISC), Digital Services Center Division (DSCD), Enterprise SaaS Branch (ESB). This role will support multiple USDA task orders, primarily focused on theUSDA Food and Nutrition Agency (FNA, previously known as FNS), with the ability to providecross-functional testing supportto theFederal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hermit's Peak Claims and Loss Information Portal (CLIP)and theUSDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) ATLAS program.

The Salesforce Tester will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting testing activities across multiple Salesforce-based customer programs. This includes functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support. The tester will work closely with developers, business analysts, federal leads, and end users to ensure that all application enhancements and new features meet defined requirements, quality standards, and federal compliance requirements before deployment.

The tester will play a critical role inmaintaining the quality and integrityof Salesforce applications across all supported customer programs. This role works within anAgile methodologyand contributes to sprint ceremonies, defect management, and continuous improvement efforts across amulti-contractor, multi-customer environment.

This is a dynamic role that requires the ability tomanage testing activities across multiple task orderssimultaneously while maintaining thorough documentation and meeting the unique operational, technical, and security requirements of each customer program.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of1-2 yearsof experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Experience working onfederal government IT contractsis strongly preferred.
• Experience supportingmultiple concurrent projects or task orderswithin a government contracting environment.
• Experience working inAgile/Scrum environments, including participation in sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Experience supportingSaaS-based cloud platform testingin a large, complex enterprise environment.
• Prior experience supportingUSDA agencies or federal civilian agenciessuch as FEMA, FNS/FNA, or AMS is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience testingSalesforce applications, including custom configurations, Apex triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and integrations
• Ability to develop and executetest plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reportsfor Salesforce-based applications
• Experience performingfunctional testing, regression testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Ability to testthird-party integrationswithin Salesforce environments (e.g., DocuSign, Slack, Microsoft Teams, MuleSoft)
• Experience validatingdata integrity, data validation rules, and reconciliationacross Salesforce and connected systems
• Ability to performsecurity access testing, including validation of user roles, profiles, and permission sets
• Familiarity withSalesforce sandbox environmentsand the ability to manage testing activities across multiple sandbox tiers (e.g., Dev, QA, UAT, Production)
• Experience testingNo Code/Low Codeconfigurations as well as custom-developed Salesforce solutions
• Ability to conductimpact analysis testingwhen changes are made to connected or downstream systems
• Knowledge ofSalesforce governance standardsand technical best practices as they relate to quality assurance
• Experience identifying, documenting, tracking, and managingdefects and change requestsfrom discovery through resolution and closure
• Ability to clearly communicate defect details, severity, and reproduction steps to development teams
• Experience usingdefect tracking toolssuch as Jira or Azure DevOps to log and manage defects within Agile sprints
• Ability to performroot cause analysisand work collaboratively with developers to verify defect fixes
• Experience managingregression testing cyclesfollowing defect resolution or new feature deployments

Test Planning & Documentation:

• Ability to develop and maintaincomprehensive test plansaligned with product roadmaps and sprint objectives
• Experience creating and maintainingtest case libraries and traceability matricesto ensure requirements coverage from identification through deployment
• Ability to documenttest results, defect reports, and testing summariesfor review by federal leads and the COR
• Experience maintainingup-to-date testing documentationin government-provided tools such as SharePoint or similar platforms
• Ability to contribute to theQuality Assurance Plan (QAP)and support ongoing quality control activities across all customer programs

Agile & Program Support:

• Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) for sprint tracking, backlog management, and burndown reporting
• Ability to contribute tosprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint reviewsacross multiple project teams
• Experience supportingseparate testing backlogs and sprint managementfor each customer as required
• Ability to clearly communicatetesting status, risks, and blockersduring Agile ceremonies and in written status reports
• Experience contributing toweekly and monthly status reportsthat reflect testing progress, defect metrics, and quality trends

Multi-Customer & Cross-Functional Support:

• Demonstrated ability tomanage testing activities across multiple task ordersand customer environments simultaneously
• Experience supporting programs withvarying operational, technical, and security requirements
• Ability to maintainsufficient capacityto support surge testing requirements across FNA, FEMA CLIP, and AMS ATLAS when needed
• Strong understanding of how to applyconsistent testing standards and governanceacross different customer programs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and federal leads acrossmultiple concurrent programs

Security & Compliance Testing:

• Understanding offederal IT security requirementsand ability to support testing activities related to Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation
• Experience validatingSection 508 accessibility compliancein Salesforce application development and enhancements
• Adherence toUSDA IT policies, Supply Chain Risk Management (DR 3540-004), and data rights obligations
• Ability to meet uniquesecurity and compliance testing requirementsspecific to each customer, including FEMA/DHS and USDA agency standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in amulti-contractor, multi-customer environment, fostering transparency and information sharing
• Ability to clearly communicate testing results and quality concerns to bothtechnical and non-technical stakeholdersacross different agencies
• Ability to supportcustomer-specific testing communicationsand contribute to stakeholder engagement across FNA, FEMA, and AMS programs
