Calling all passionate Speech Language Pathologists committed to supporting student growth and success! An exciting contract opportunity is available to provide essential speech services for K-12 public school students in the Ypsilanti, MI area. Full and part-time schedules (25–40 hours per week) offer the flexibility needed to balance your professional and personal life while making a meaningful difference.
You'll collaborate with educators, families, and school teams to identify student needs and deliver high-quality speech and language interventions. Whether you thrive in elementary, middle, or high school settings, your expertise is valued across all grade levels.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Michigan SLP license required
- Schools or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Open to candidates with SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide both individual and group interventions, working closely with classroom educators
- Track student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration
- Serve as a resource for parents and staff on communication strategies
