Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations, using standardized assessment tools and observational techniques.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and daily functioning.
• Educate patients and their families on effective techniques for managing conditions, preventing injuries, and enhancing overall wellness.
• Administer a variety of interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with legal and regulatory standards, ensuring all records are maintained accurately.
• Continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress, utilizing critical thinking skills to optimize effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The rehabilitation center serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, chronic pain, sports injuries, and neurological conditions. Your role as a PT will be to collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists to create integrated and comprehensive patient care strategies that lead to improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active Florida State licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex medical concepts in an understandable manner to patients and their families.
• Excellent organizational skills, allowing you to manage multiple patient cases and documentation within regulatory timeframes.

Compensation and Benefits
