Patient Service Representative
$25 per hourAre you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping others? We’re looking for a Patient Services Representative who brings compassion, strong communication skills, and a commitment to excellent service in every interaction.
Job Duties
- Answering a high volume of inbound calls (60–80 calls per day) from patients, vendors, insurance companies, and medical facilities
- Delivering exceptional customer service by warmly greeting callers, actively listening, assisting with inquiries, and closing each interaction professionally
- Scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling patient appointments via phone, SMS, and patient portal messages
- Screening and routing calls appropriately to ensure patients are directed to the right departments
- Accurately registering patients and managing appointment scheduling and follow-ups in the EMR system
- Taking clear, detailed messages and documenting them using internal communication templates
- Responding to patient needs by adjusting appointments according to clinic protocols
Schedule & Work Environment
- 100% onsite position
- Training schedule will align with trainer availability (historically 8:00/8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- After training, shift transitions to approximately 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Ideal candidate
- You have 3 years of experience in customer service, call center, or healthcare
- You enjoy a high volume work setting
- You are good at multi tasking
- Major plus for someone bilingual in Spanish

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
