Licensed Suicide Prevention Director

Leading the Samaritans program, the full-time Licensed Suicide Prevention Director will manage suicide prevention initiatives, oversee evidence-based training and support services, and collaborate with mental health organizations in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities Ensure high-quality implementation of suicide prevention services with measurable impact Set and exceed goals for direct service projects while collaborating on strategic direction Conduct trainings, community presentations, and facilitate support groups for individuals affected by suicide Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of relevant work experience in the suicide prevention field Strong organizational skills for managing grants, budgets, and direct service demands Experience in conducting trainings and engaging with the community Knowledge of best practices in suicide prevention and related topics Ability to work independently and as part of a team
