UniversaCare is looking for a detailoriented, techsavvy HR Coordinator / Compliance Officer to support recruitment, onboarding, and compliance across our home care operations. This role ensures caregivers and staff meet all regulatory requirements while helping modernize HR workflows with AIdriven solutions.
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate onboarding and employee documentation
Track licenses, certifications, physicals, drug screens, and expirations
Maintain accurate HR records and follow up on missing requirements
Support audits and ensure compliance with NY home care regulations
Assist with recruitment and orientation scheduling
Improve HR workflows using AI tools and automation
What We’re Looking For:
HR, compliance, or healthcare staffing experience preferred
Strong organizational and followup skills
Comfortable with HR systems, spreadsheets, and documentation tracking
AIfocused mindset with a passion for efficiency
Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
Knowledge of home care compliance is a plus
Bilingual Spanish is a plus
