About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to oversee the efficient and successful operation of its manufacturing plants, maintenance department, yard, warehouse, and fabrication planning and scheduling. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing operations on a multi-shift basis to ensure the production of quality products on schedule and at or below estimated costs, while maintaining a safe work environment. This role requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in a leadership position within the steel bridge fabrication industry or a similar business, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent. The Vice President of Operations will have direct accountability for plant safety and will be expected to lead in the development and maintenance of sound co-worker relations and communication programs. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Operations at the company include serving as an active participant on the management team, developing and maintaining a participative culture, and providing leadership in the planning and execution of manufacturing objectives. The role also involves collaboration with management personnel to establish fabrication processes, quality standards, and production schedules, as well as directing data collection and analyses to optimize efficiencies.
