Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide weekly evidence-based counseling through secure live video sessions, tailored to the individual needs of adult clients.

• Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans, enhancing the quality of care provided.

• Maintain detailed case documentation, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a counselor at Rediscovered Trauma Recovery Center, you will primarily work with adult clients who may be experiencing a range of mental health challenges. This includes individuals coping with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. You will guide clients through evidence-based therapeutic techniques while addressing their unique experiences and empowering them on their path to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or other mental health-related fields.
\n
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Please note that we are unable to accept interns or licensed therapists requiring supervision to provide individual therapy.

• Proficient in verbal and written communication, demonstrating clarity and compassion when interacting with clients.

• No disciplinary actions on your professional license.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not strictly required, candidates who have experience in trauma-informed counseling or specialized training in telehealth practices will be favored. Familiarity with evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) can be advantageous. Additionally, experience coordinating with other healthcare providers will enhance collaborative care efforts.
