Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver high-quality mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to meet the unique needs of clients.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, crafting individualized plans that incorporate mindfulness practices.

• Facilitate guided mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques to enhance clients’ self-awareness, stress management, and emotional health.

• Organize and lead group workshops on mindfulness practices, anxiety reduction, and resilience-building strategies, ensuring an interactive and engaging environment.

• Integrate mindfulness strategies into individual therapy sessions to address client concerns, while maintaining a focus on their overall mental health and personal growth.

• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other therapists to develop cohesive treatment plans that address the holistic needs of our clients.

• Document and maintain accurate records regarding client progress, interventions implemented, and treatment milestones, adhering to HIPAA regulations and best practices.

• Engage in personal mindfulness practices and professional development to stay ahead of trends in mindfulness applications and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adult clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation difficulties. Many clients seek our services for support in managing daily life stressors or navigating significant life transitions. Your expertise in mindfulness will empower these clients to develop better coping strategies and enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of New York.

• Strong foundational understanding of mindfulness and its application in therapeutic settings; experience in MBSR is advantageous but not a strict requirement.

Compensation and Benefits\n
