Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to discern clients' individual stressors, mental health challenges, and goals, tailoring mindfulness practices accordingly.

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, such as MBSR, focusing on promoting relaxation, self-awareness, and emotional regulation.

• Guide clients in various mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques, both in individual sessions and group workshops.

• Facilitate group workshops and classes aimed at teaching stress management strategies and building resilience using mindfulness techniques.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions implemented, and individualized treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in personal mindfulness practice and self-reflection to enhance your therapeutic skills and deepen your understanding of mindfulness as it applies to therapeutic settings.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate mindfulness practices into a holistic treatment approach, providing clients with comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to work with individuals seeking to improve their mental health through mindfulness techniques. You will engage with a diverse clientele, including those dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to create a calming and supportive therapeutic environment.

• A commitment to evidence-based practices and ethical standards in mental health counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience or extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually , commensurate with experience.
