Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while interacting with school personnel and students over secure video conferencing platforms. Our center operates Monday through Saturday, providing the flexibility for counselors to design their schedules to best meet client needs. Through our in-house credentialing and insurance management, you will be able to focus solely on your clients and their therapeutic journeys.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, identifying unique needs and devising appropriate treatment plans.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to provide evidence-based interventions tailored to the needs of each client.

• Participate in interdisciplinary care meetings to effectively communicate treatment approaches and progress, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.

• Document treatment interventions and client progress ethically and timely in adherence to departmental standards.

• Coordinate care by consulting with school and community professionals, facilitating a collaborative approach to improve student outcomes.

• Adhere to all organizational policies and ethical guidelines while supporting the mental well-being of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents facing a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. This includes issues such as anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and family dynamics. Our approach emphasizes building strong relationships with clients, fostering a safe space where students can express their thoughts and feelings, empowering them to develop coping strategies for their unique situations.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably working with children and adolescents.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
