Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, customizing mindfulness practices to meet their specific needs.

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to promote relaxation, self-awareness, and emotional balance in clients.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that incorporate mindfulness techniques, such as meditation and breathing exercises, to support clients' mental health and personal growth.

• Organize and lead workshops on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building strategies, enhancing community awareness and engagement.
\n
• Document client progress meticulously, tracking mindfulness interventions and adapting treatment plans based on clients' evolving needs.

• Engage in personal mindfulness practice to enhance your therapeutic effectiveness and to model techniques for clients.

• Participate in regular interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure a coordinated approach to client care and adherence to best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Your expertise in mindfulness will empower clients to develop essential coping skills, fostering resilience in their daily lives. You will assist individuals in learning how to manage overwhelming emotions and improve their overall mental health status.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Strong background in mindfulness-based therapeutic practices; training in MBSR is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, enabling the creation of a supportive and calming therapeutic environment for clients.

• Annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
