Role Description The Account Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area. This position is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customer accounts by identifying client needs, presenting appropriate energy solutions, and closing new business opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include conducting in-person and virtual client meetings, preparing proposals and quotations, tracking sales activities in a CRM system, and following up on leads generated through marketing and referrals. The role also involves collaborating with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding, timely delivery of services, and high customer satisfaction. The Account Sales Representative is expected to meet or exceed sales targets, stay informed about industry trends and company offerings, and represent Midwest Power Inc. professionally in the local market.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in account management, client relationship building, and consultative selling.
• Ability to identify customer needs, prepare tailored proposals, and negotiate pricing and contract terms.
• Strong communication skills, including clear business writing and confident in-person and phone presentations.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Comfort with using CRM tools, basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations), and reporting sales activities.
• Understanding of or interest in the energy, utilities, or industrial products sector; willingness to learn technical product details.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
• Previous experience in B2B sales, field sales, or territory management is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial. xhyhwjd
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally within the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area for client visits.
