Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and impact of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual needs, goals, and preferences.

• Deliver evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while adapting techniques to meet the unique contexts of each client's life.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Monitor and document clients' progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver a cohesive and comprehensive treatment approach.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to remain attuned to emerging research and methodologies in mood disorder treatment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to share insights and improve treatment methodologies.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and contribute to reducing stigma associated with mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is pivotal in supporting individuals facing challenges with mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and various anxiety-related conditions. Our clientele is incredibly diverse, requiring therapists to demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adaptability to effectively engage patients from different backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or licensed psychologist in the State of California.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment techniques for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of psychopharmacology for collaborative treatment approaches.

• Documented success in effectively treating clients with mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills essential for building rapport and fostering trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar outpatient setting, working specifically with mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
