Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' personal histories and ascertain the most effective therapeutic interventions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery, resilience-building, and emotional well-being.

• Deliver evidence-based therapy modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to individual client needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions where patients can express their feelings, learn coping mechanisms, and develop supportive peer connections.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated and effective care for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance for those in acute distress.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses and available coping strategies, enhancing their understanding of the recovery process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay informed of the latest trends and techniques in trauma treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with clients who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is required.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental attitude toward patients.

• Ability to maintain composure and clarity in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and related computer applications.

• A strong ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
