Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to evaluate their physical condition, history, and specific symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction and creating individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Teaching and guiding patients in the effective use of therapeutic techniques to enhance recovery and mobility.
• Applying various physical interventions, such as manual therapy and therapeutic modalities, to facilitate healing.
• Assisting clients in the proficient use of mobility equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, walkers) to enhance their independence.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously, monitoring their goals, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Providing educational support to patients and their families about in-home treatment options and exercises to reinforce therapy between sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse patient population, encompassing individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic illnesses, or experiencing mobility limitations due to injury or age-related factors. Your expertise will directly influence their recovery trajectory, enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and possess a valid state license to practice. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interactions with patients and their families, as well as for maintaining accurate clinical documentation. Proficiency in computer systems for record-keeping and treatment planning is also required.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of professional experience is required, we welcome applications from both seasoned therapists and recent graduates who are eager to learn. Compensation and Benefits
